New Omega Seamaster Limited Edition Watches for Tokyo Olympics 2020

The official sponsor and timekeeper of the Olympic Games, Omega is making preparations for the Tokyo Olympics that are now merely a year away. To keep up with the current tradition, Omega is introducing limited-edition models for commemorating the event. While Omega has been the Olympic Games’ Official Timekeeper since 1932, the games have seen the launch of many top-notch timekeeping technologies over the years. Undoubtedly, the brand will be garnering all the attention during the Olympics two-week event like it does every year.

Thus, whether you are looking to ‘sell my Omega watch’ or sell watches of any other luxury brand, let’s have a quick look at the two brand-new Omega Seamaster Limited Edition watches, designed specifically for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Limited Edition Watch

The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition will debut the first ceramic dial for the brand’s Aqua Terra collection. However, the watch flaunts a sporty blue finish having a design of asymmetrical shapes. Interestingly, the design offers an underrated vibe, yet bearing the classic aesthetic of the Aqua Terra watches.

Moreover, the new Seamaster Aqua Terra comes in a stainless steel watchcase of 41mm and is limited to only 2,020 pieces. The sapphire crystal case back of the watch features an emblem of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. However, the crystal case back partially displays the Omega Calibre 8900 Master Chronometer movement. The timepiece is also water-resistant up to 150m.

Omega equipped this Aqua Terra Limited Edition watch with a blue rubber strap that reflects the dial’s design. Moreover, the presentation box consists of an additional bracelet in stainless steel to change up the watch’s look.

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Limited Edition

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Tokyo 2020 Limited Edition watch features a white ceramic bezel with a red highlight to pay tribute to the flag of the host country. However, the stainless steel watch comes in 39.5mm case, and the white ceramic bezel ring features its signature diving scale. The diving scale is fitted in the patent Liquidmetal metallic glass alloy that includes five elements – zirconium, copper, titanium, beryllium and nickel. Moreover, the red highlight ‘20’ signifies the year of the upcoming Olympics and the ‘lollipop’ seconds-hand has a red dot at the tip that pays homage to the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’.
